Hi I'm Monique!

Many of my collections are inspired by my memories of a California childhood skipping across beaches, forests, and mountains with salty wind in my hair, sand in my toes, and a pocket full of sea glass, twigs and moss... and of course always keeping my eyes open for my next sweet treat. You'll find plenty of shells, recycled glass, and pearls in addition to candy-colored gemstones here!

I built Ayesse to set a tactile creative example for my baby while she is young. My own mother set this example for me - which fueled my deep love for art and strong female content. This shop is dedicated to my mom. My inspiration is all the incredible women out there building their dreams on their own terms - you do you!
